Partou Progress House Day Nursery and Pre-school in Market Harborough has received a glowing report from Ofsted, earning a ‘Good’ rating across all areas of activity. The nursery, located on Northampton Road, has been commended for providing a nurturing environment where children thrive and develop secure emotional connections with staff.

The Ofsted inspector highlighted the “caring and nurturing staff team” for creating “a warm and welcoming environment where children are happy and settle well.” The report notes that children feel safe and secure in the setting, building confidence and strong relationships with both their peers and the adults who care for them.

The inspector also praised the nursery for its well-structured and ambitious curriculum, which motivates children to learn and engage in a wide range of activities. The nursery team has a clear vision for each child’s development and works closely with families to tailor learning experiences based on individual needs and interests.

Partou Progress House is known for its high-quality care and education for children aged up to five years. The nursery’s strong commitment to meeting the needs of all children was noted in the report, particularly in how it supports those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The inspector found that staff quickly identify gaps in learning and put targeted support in place, ensuring good progress for children with SEND.

In addition to the positive feedback on staff interactions with children, the report also highlighted the strong relationships between the nursery team and parents. Parents have described the nursery as “like a family,” and they value the thorough settling-in procedures that ensure children are happy and comfortable from the start.

Elaine Armstrong, Nursery Manager at Partou Progress House, expressed her pride in the report, saying: “It’s a really positive review for the team. We strive to ensure that children and their families receive the highest standard of care, and it’s heartening to receive such positive feedback from the families who trust us with their children’s early education.”

Samantha Rhodes, Managing Director of Partou, echoed this sentiment, saying: “At Partou, we believe in letting children lead the way in their learning. Our team focuses on nurturing each child’s individual abilities. This report confirms that under Elaine’s leadership, the Partou Progress House team is excelling in providing both quality care and education.”

Partou Progress House Day Nursery and Pre-school’s Ofsted report is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the nursery staff, as well as their strong commitment to the development and wellbeing of every child they care for. With this positive review, the nursery continues to uphold its reputation as a trusted and respected provider of early years education in Market Harborough.
