Sales Geek, the UK’s leading provider of part-time sales directors, has appointed Jay Williams as its new Head of Global Recruitment. The move comes as the company embarks on an ambitious expansion plan, aiming to strengthen its presence not only in the UK but also internationally.

Having experienced significant growth in 2024, Sales Geek has expanded into new international markets, including India, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and several states in the United States. To support this global growth, the company is focused on recruiting talented franchisees to join its expanding network, and Williams is tasked with leading this effort.

Williams, who brings over 15 years of recruitment experience, joins Sales Geek from Mercury Hampton, a specialist headhunting firm. Throughout his career, he has worked with businesses ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations, helping them with strategic hires and leadership recruitment. Based at the company’s headquarters in Blackburn, Lancashire, Williams will manage the recruitment process for new franchisees, ensuring Sales Geek continues to attract the best talent to drive its expansion.

Founder and Chief Geek of Sales Geek, Richard Few, expressed his excitement at the appointment, stating, “It’s a pleasure to welcome Jay to Sales Geek. His extensive experience in recruiting high-level talent will significantly strengthen our ability to identify individuals who can thrive as Sales Geek franchise owners. His expertise will play a crucial role in accelerating our growth strategy and helping us to expand further both in the UK and internationally.”

Williams himself was equally enthusiastic about his new role, commenting, “I’m delighted to be joining Sales Geek and am looking forward to getting started. I was immediately drawn to the company’s values and the strong, supportive culture they’ve built. I believe this is an environment where I can make a real difference and contribute to the ongoing success of the business as it continues to grow globally.”

Founded in 2015, Sales Geek provides businesses with experienced part-time sales directors, helping them to accelerate sales performance without the need for full-time hires. The company’s model has proven to be particularly attractive to SMEs and growing businesses, offering a flexible and cost-effective solution to their sales needs.

In recent years, Sales Geek has seen a surge in demand for its services, prompting the company to expand its franchise network. With franchises already established across the UK, the company’s international expansion is set to take it into new markets, providing opportunities for both individual entrepreneurs and businesses seeking sales expertise. The appointment of Jay Williams marks an important step in ensuring that Sales Geek’s recruitment process can keep pace with this rapid growth, securing talented franchisees who will play a key role in the company’s future success.

Sales Geek’s continued expansion and the strategic hiring of Williams underline the company’s commitment to building a global network that delivers exceptional sales leadership to businesses across a wide range of industries.
