A Danish woman who was accused of kissing boxer Tommy Fury during his holiday in Ohrid, North Macedonia, has confirmed that the kiss did happen. This revelation comes after she had previously denied any romantic involvement with the Love Island star.
Milla Corfixen, a 20-year-old jewellery assistant, took to her Instagram Stories to address the situation. She explained that, following relentless online trolling, she felt compelled to share her side of the story. Milla had initially denied the claims, insisting that nothing happened between her and Tommy, but has now admitted to the kiss.
Earlier this summer, Tommy Fury, 25, was seen partying in North Macedonia during a boys’ holiday. Rumours quickly surfaced about his alleged behaviour at a nightclub, where he was reportedly seen kissing a blonde woman. This incident led to widespread speculation about his relationship with long-term partner Molly-Mae Hague, with whom he shares 18-month-old daughter Bambi. Molly-Mae later confirmed their split after five years together.
On Sunday, Milla posted on her Instagram: “I’ve had to delete all my posts due to the hate and nasty comments. As stated in the news, I didn’t do anything with Tommy Fury beyond sharing a kiss. I didn’t even know who he was. If I’d known about Molly-Mae, I would never have kissed him back.”
Previously, Milla had maintained that Tommy was a “proper gentleman” and denied that they kissed. However, witnesses had claimed otherwise, suggesting that the boxer “didn’t seem to care” about being seen while he was drinking and partying into the early hours of the morning.
In an interview with The Sun, Milla expressed her shock when she learned about Tommy and Molly-Mae’s split, saying that she had no intention of coming between the couple. She even said she would be willing to explain her side of the story to Molly-Mae.
Milla clarified: “I am the girl, but nothing happened beyond that kiss. We just had fun. I don’t know what he’s been up to, but someone else must have kissed him too.”
The Danish woman, who spends her summers in Ohrid with family, is well-known on the local party scene and revealed that she partied with Tommy and his friends on several occasions during his holiday. According to Milla, she was introduced to the boxer by members of his security team, who are friends of hers. She then suggested various clubs for the group to enjoy, and they later crossed paths at Cuba Libre, a popular Latin bar.
“They invited us to his table, we had fun, and that’s it,” she explained. “Nothing happened between us. I would never have gone any further, especially knowing he’s in a committed relationship with a child.”
Milla also bumped into Tommy at another club, Omnia, on his final night in Ohrid but reiterated that they were not together. She insisted that Tommy was simply being friendly and not flirtatious during their encounters.
Earlier this month, Molly-Mae announced the end of her relationship with Tommy in a heartfelt statement, leaving fans of the couple shocked by the sudden breakup. The exact reasons for their split remain unclear, but the allegations surrounding Tommy’s behaviour have certainly played a part in the public conversation.
