Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting, has announced the expansion of its Living Labs network, unveiling a new facility in London’s Canary Wharf. This initiative aims to help clients accelerate innovation and leverage emerging technologies, positioning Infosys at the forefront of digital transformation.
The launch event featured UK Minister for Digital Government and AI, Feryal Clark, along with Professor Colm-cille Caulfield, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, and over 100 attendees, including clients and partners. Guests toured the new facility and witnessed live demonstrations of its capabilities, showcasing the potential of digital technologies in driving business innovation.
Located in one of London’s premier banking districts, the Living Labs are designed to foster a convergence of digital technologies, business insights, and human experience. The facility will serve as a hub for innovation, allowing clients and partners to prototype, test, and develop groundbreaking ideas. A key focus of the Living Labs will be on Enterprise AI, where clients can observe AI-driven digital transformation in real-time. Highlights include Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering that utilises generative AI technologies, and Infosys Cobalt, a cloud-powered solution that aids enterprises in building robust digital architectures.
By offering interactive demonstrations, workshops, and tailored consultations, Infosys Living Labs aims to support organizations in envisioning and executing their digital transformation strategies.
In addition to the Living Labs, Infosys announced a collaboration with the University of Cambridge to establish a new AI Lab. This joint initiative will leverage Infosys’ industry expertise and Cambridge’s world-class research capabilities to tackle real-world challenges. The AI Lab is expected to be a catalyst for pioneering research and innovation.
The Living Labs and AI Lab are located within Infosys’ new 25,000 sq. ft. premises, designed to accommodate 200 employees. The workspace embodies biophilic design principles, seamlessly integrating sustainable practices with adaptive and modular design. The facility has also achieved a Gold SKA Rating, reflecting its commitment to energy efficiency, waste management, and environmental impact.

Minister Feryal Clark emphasised the UK government’s focus on AI as a driver of economic growth. She noted, “Infosys’ new London base will support organizations and researchers in maximising the potential of AI, fostering innovations that will benefit people across the country.”
Professor Colm-cille Caulfield echoed this sentiment, highlighting Cambridge’s historical role in research and its commitment to advancing AI for the benefit of humanity. He expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Together, we have a unique opportunity to harness the power of AI for transformative advances in science, business, and society.”
As Infosys continues to expand its presence in the UK, the new Living Labs and AI Lab represent significant steps in its mission to lead in digital innovation and sustainability.
